The Peak District — The Bridge

Posted by
Hoshisato (Dippach, Luxembourg) on 16 October 2011 in Landscape & Rural.

This is a classical photo of the Peak District, it is the stone bridge over a wee burn just at the bottom of the Jacob's Ladder. The Pennine Way starts at the pub in Edale and then follows the valley until the Jacob's Ladder takes it up to Kinder Scout, the highest gritstone peak in the Peak District.
