Holland Park

Posted by
Hoshisato (Dippach, Luxembourg) on 27 May 2008 in Transportation and Portfolio.

Today is the start of a short series of photos taken in Holland Park tube station. It is actually a pretty, photogenic station as tube stations go, here in London. This was taken before the start of the Metropolitan Police's anti-photographer snitch campaign otherwise I would have refrained from taking them. :-(

You are shooting digital now, but deep down, maybe even unbeknown to you, you want to try film and find out why so many happy people are still using it. If so, once you are ready to take the next step to being a happy photographer, visit my page dedicated to film photography here.

@Kheoh Yee Wei: It is all part of the anti-terrorist crackdown to report suspicious photographers. This is all understandable but lots of officials and private guards have interpreted it in a way where they question you the moment you show up with a (D)SLR or a tripod. The longer the lens, the more likely you are to be stopped. Like terrorists would use those instead of a camera phone. ^_^;;

love subway shots -- great directional lines and contrast.
