Beachy Head lighthouse

Posted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 25 August 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The lighthouse is 43m in height and it became operational in October 1902. It rotates two white flashes every 20 seconds and is visible 42 km (26 miles) out to sea.

Incoming news: One of my photos is going to be used in a new book about Sun Ra!
