The Golden RatioPosted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 16 May 2009 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. Taken from the bottom of the same stairs I photographed in this photo from above. I'm quite happy with the way both shots came out: the light was poor and in both cases I had to use an open aperture of f/3.5 to reach an exposure, handheld, of 1/8 and 1/4 seconds respectively. The fun thing of this photo for me is that it matches the swirly composition guide (the Golden Ratio) as included in LightRoom almost perfectly :-) Thanks for all your comments, please keep them coming. You will do me a great favour by visiting my black and white gallery or blog. For my trip reports, please visit my Travel Blog page. I'll be in NL for the holidays if I can make it through the forecast snowstorms, see you in 2010! Update: I've not been able to reach Dover for two days in a row now, P&O ferries are not able to take any calls, I have no idea when I'll manage to make it to NL ^_^;;
