Sensō-ji, Asakusa, Tokyo

Posted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 20 March 2009 in Documentary & Street.

Upcoming is a series of scanned-in colour negatives, mostly portraits and a few landscapes, that came out a little too noisy to use. I decided to use the noise to my advantage and convert them into very extremely grainy and contrast-rich black and white images hoping to catch some wabi-sabi.

Thanks for all your comments, please keep them coming. You will do me a great favour by visiting my black and white gallery or blog. For my trip reports, please visit my Travel Blog page.
