Takayama

Time for a few colour photos after posting so many black and white photos the last few weeks.

I have to confess, regardless of its status as 'best in Japan' I have never really been too impressed with Takayama. But Takayama is perfectly located for trips to the Hida Folk Village, Kamikōchi, Gujō-Hachiman and Shiragawago which are my favourite places in Japan and that makes it an important transport hub to me. :-)
