Winter landscape with tree

Pollard-willow in a very Dutch landscape. Pollard-willows had but disappeared from the Dutch landscape when a couple of enthusiasts started maintaining the old trees and encouraging new trees to be pruned back to preserve the old Dutch landscape.

Thinking of using this shot as this year's New Years card.

Details: Y(K2) yellow filter plus 1 stop over-exposed.

I'll be in NL for the holidays if I can make it through the forecast snowstorms, see you in 2010! Update: I've not been able to reach Dover for two days in a row now, P&O ferries are not able to take any calls, I have no idea when I'll manage to make it to NL ^_^;;
