Winter landscape with trees

Posted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 14 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I added a gradient filter in LightRoom2.1 at the bottom of the image to bring a little bit of detail back in the snow trying not to spoil the "floating" feelings of this photo.

As you may have noticed, I built a tiny Lightroom 2 plugin to be able to save off my images with rounded corners which I found fitting for the "old fashioned" look of this series. Let me know what you think about it.

Details: Y(K2) yellow filter plus 1 stop over-exposed.

I'll be in NL for the holidays if I can make it through the forecast snowstorms, see you in 2010! Update: I've not been able to reach Dover for two days in a row now, P&O ferries are not able to take any calls, I have no idea when I'll manage to make it to NL ^_^;;
