Mood impressions #3

Posted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 31 October 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

I'm still struggling to find the correct words to describe what attracts me in the photos of the last three days: mostly they evoke an emotion that comes close to capturing the real experience. Have you ever come back from a trip and browsed through your photos to discover that even though you captured a lot of pretty photos, it is nothing like like you felt at the time? I have that all the time and these blurry photos come closer to travelling in Tokyo than many of the other photos I took in that city.
The people to whom I have shown the photos in this series have all rejected them as pretentious or simply as "not sharp," I'm very happy with the encouraging comments I have received, thanks.
