Paris at nightPosted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 9 October 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. The above composite has been created from two Black&White photos taken with Ilford FP4+ 125ISO film and turned into a panorama with the Photoshop PhotoMerge Panorama function before I bought PTGui. I used the railing of the Pont au Change as support to take the photos. I'm really happy with the level of detail still left in the Conciergerie on the quiet, left side of the photo whereas the right side shows the Samaritaine department store with the bustling of the cars racing over the Voie Georges Pompidou. In the background, romantic Pont Neuf is lit up Thanks for all your comments, please keep them coming. You will do me a great favour by visiting my black and white gallery or blog. For my trip reports, please visit my Travel Blog page. I'll be in NL for the holidays if I can make it through the forecast snowstorms, see you in 2010! Update: I've not been able to reach Dover for two days in a row now, P&O ferries are not able to take any calls, I have no idea when I'll manage to make it to NL ^_^;;
