A cable car of the Powell-Mason line; I am actually disappointed that none of the passengers is wearing 'vintage' clothes other than the guy in the check shirt which is, of course, now fashionable again. I guess that in 1987 flared trousers and disco clothes were 'not done' any more in San Francisco. ^_^;;
I'll be back from holidays shortly, please stand-by for new photos of the French Provence (Alpes-Maritimes) in a couple of days.

Hi. I came across your picture and was struck by a wave of nostalgia. Not so much for SF since I only visited for the first time a few years ago, but for the Pentax ME. My brother had one of these. It was the first SLR in our house and I used to sneak out with it and a roll of film when he wasn't around.

@olli: Cheers Olli, The Pentax ME was my first camera and I immediately fell in love with the Aperture Priority (Av mode) the camera worked in; in fact, I still use this mode on my Pentax *ist DS and Pentax MZ-S no matter what advanced automatic programs these cameras offer.
