Kamikochi -The Yosemite of Japan #2

I have visited Japan many times and most of the time I spent in urban environments, assuming that all rivers and nature had been tamed by concrete and tetrapods. An easy mistake to make when you watch out of the window whilst riding the different shinkansen from Hakata to Hachinohe and back. I was proven completely wrong of course by visiting Kamikochi. ^_^;;

I'll be in NL for the holidays if I can make it through the forecast snowstorms, see you in 2010! Update: I've not been able to reach Dover for two days in a row now, P&O ferries are not able to take any calls, I have no idea when I'll manage to make it to NL ^_^;;
