Winter

Posted by Hoshisato (Ealing, United Kingdom) on 17 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Last Christmas in Holland the weather had been foggy and cold, no fun at all, when all of a sudden, the sun came out and turned the flat river landscape into a frozen postcard.
I never saw so many photographers, amateurs and professionals, walking, cycling and driving around as on that morning. Everybody must have woken up early and decided that it was now or never if they ever were going to justify the expense of that new DSLR for themselves.

Thanks for all your comments, please keep them coming. You will do me a great favour by visiting my black and white gallery or blog. For my trip reports, please visit my Travel Blog page.

I'll be in NL for the holidays if I can make it through the forecast snowstorms, see you in 2010! Update: I've not been able to reach Dover for two days in a row now, P&O ferries are not able to take any calls, I have no idea when I'll manage to make it to NL ^_^;;
